Eileen Tierney is currently a Managing Partner at Stonehaven, focusing on Global Financial Services, having joined from Tierney Partners, LLC in 2023.  Eileen is a global markets specialist and her areas of expertise include Corporate Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions, Equities, Convertibles, Fixed Income, and Private Equity.  In addition, Eileen maintains the leading Equity Capital Markets recruiting franchise, initially established in 1995.

Eileen has originated and executed numerous searches for executives to build and manage industry or product groups, including: health care, financial institutions, media, telecommunications, technology, consumer/retail, natural resources, industrials, real estate, equity capital markets, convertibles, equity privates, equity sales & trading; high yield and investment grade capital markets, research and sales & trading.

Prior to co-founding Tierney Partners in 2003, Eileen was a Vice Chairman at The Whitney Group.  Eileen originated and managed significant global account relationships and was responsible for all aspects of origination and execution.  In addition, Eileen co-managed the firm’s Global Equity and Corporate Finance Groups, respectively.

Eileen also worked at Deutsche Bank, where she focused on asset management in Frankfurt and Corporate Finance in New York.  Previously, Eileen worked at Bankers Trust Company, functioning in a variety of roles related to the firm’s interest rate swaps franchise in New York and London.

Eileen holds a Master in Business Administration from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, cum laude, from the University of Richmond.
