The Alan Turing Institute (ATI) is the national institute for data science. It was established in 2015 by five founding universities – Cambridge, Edinburgh, Oxford, UCL and Warwick – and the UK Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council in order to strengthen the UK’s aim to be a world leader in the analysis and application of big data. Stonehaven was proud to sponsor the ‘corporate launch’ of ATI in October 2016 and we continue to help the organisation wherever possible, as it seeks to create global impact through research, training and leadership in data science.
Allen & Overy is a multinational law firm and a member of the UK’s Magic Circle. It is widely considered to be one of the world’s elite, advising national and multinational corporations, financial institutions, and governments. Stonehaven have worked with the Senior Partners of Allen and Overy for over five years, both on our biannual two day programme (for prospective non-executive directors) and at a number of ‘round table’ events for Chairman and CEOs of the FTSE100 & 250.
Deloitte is one of the largest professional services firms in the world and provides audit, tax, consulting, enterprise risk and financial advisory services in over 150 countries. In the UK, they also provide support and guidance to boards, individual directors and company secretaries in the FTSE350 through their Academy. Stonehaven have worked with the Senior Partners of Deloitte UK for over five years, both on our biannual two day programme (for prospective non-executive directors) and at a number of events, including Deloitte’s own CFO programme.
The founders of Stonehaven are well-known for their track record of placing women on to boards in both Non-Executive and Executive roles within the FTSE100 and 250. In 2011, Andy Davies and John Barker were also directly responsible for helping to draft the Voluntary Code of Conduct for Executive Search Firms in Board Appointments. The Code is intended to address gender diversity on corporate boards and best practice for the related search processes. In addition to being a signatory of the Code we are proud to partner with Women On Boards, the UK’s leading network of senior businesswomen.
